POLYCAST BK Backing Compound
POLYCAST BK is a backing material made of 100% solids-modified epoxy resin. It is specifically designed to act as a solid, incompressible layer that supports the wear liners within crushers. This support ensures the liners maintain their proper position and effectively transfer crushing forces to the machine’s frame. For use in heavy machinery such as vibrating screens, cone crushers, grinding mills, primary and gyratory crushers. This pourable, non-flammable Backing Compound is used to fill any gaps, voids, or irregularities between the wear liners and the backing plates or support structures. This process eliminates the formation of gaps that could lead to liner cavitation, loosening, or premature failure.
