POLYCAST WRK Pipe Wrap Repair Kit is made from high-strength materials that resist corrosion and chemicals, ensuring a long-lasting repair. It features a two-part system specifically designed for emergency or temporary fixes of leaking or damaged pipes. The main components include a steel putty and water-activated fiberglass tape.
POLYCAST Steel Putty is used to seal the hole or crack in the pipe, providing the initial leak barrier. The woven fiberglass bandage, impregnated with a water-activated resin, is then wrapped tightly around the pipe over the putty, creating a rock-hard, impact-resistant shell.
